Katrina Bishop is an experienced and certified Hypnotherapist, Neuro-Linguistic Programmer, and Life Coach who is driven by helping others overcome obstacles and succeed in every facet of their lives. Katrina knows that suffering is difficult, and she has made it her mission to help others so they can start leading the life they want for themselves. Before becoming a therapist, she worked as a photographer, para-professional, and business owner. When not helping others, she enjoys traveling, spending time with loved ones, taking photos, going to concerts, and practicing Muay Thai.

Most of my clients have come to me after they’ve tried other approaches and failed or experienced limited success. My family’s story is no different. We searched for ways to help our daughter who struggled with panic attacks and anxiety for more than five years. After starting hypnotherapy, she went from having five to seven attacks a day to having none. Hypnotherapy replaced the hopelessness and fear she was used to feeling with power and knowledge.

what is hypnosis?

Traditional therapy works with the conscious mind and is usually based on an analytical approach that focuses on understanding and analyzing an issue, thereby resolving it. Hypnosis uses our subconscious minds. It circumvents the conscious mind to make quick, lasting changes on the areas of the brain that control thoughts, feeling, and behaviors.

For hypnotherapy to work, a client must have motivation, expectations, belief, and a willingness. My programs are designed to create the change people desire and teach them the tools and strategies to be successful on their own after our therapy has concluded.

Hypnotherapy quiets the everyday mind and brings to the forefront our subconscious mind where our habits and programming are stored. It is solution-focused, taps into our natural abilities to overcome obstacles, and turns up our resource state so we can handle any obstacle or situation.
